OMG I got engaged on Christmas Day. I don't actually think we can afford to get married in 2011 so if I am planning for 2012 do I need to do anything right now?

Save as much money as you can

It's never too early to book your venue. I wouldn't bother looking at dresses yet because if you are like me, you will just end up confusing yourself.

Good luck, it's a very exciting time.
