I am thinking of having Purple as my theme colour. Deep purple (think Cadburys purple) Both my bridesmaids have fair hair and skin, is this too deep a colour for them? also, will it look a bit Goth like?

I understand what you saying there. As long as they get a Fake Bake on I think they will be OK and not look too washed out. I don't think it will look Gothic as such, it sounds lovely. We are having bright orange, so I am down with the vibrant look.
