Every church will have different ideas about what music u should or shouldn't have.
I think u should just do what will be the most meaningful for you on the day.
Songs are a good way to help people to take time to consider the words that are being said. It can all be over in a flash sometimes.

Do you 'have' to have hymns?

For those getting married in church. How many Hymns are you having. We were told to have two, but I would really rather have one. Is this possible, or is it rude to ask the Vicar if we can only have one?
