Second marriages 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago

Hi. I am getting married next year and it will be my second wedding. My first marriage split up with divorce and we are having a quiet affair with family and close friends. I don't want it to be tacky in any way, so do you think there is anything I should be doing or avoiding with it being a second marriage?

Personally I think you should be able to do anything you want regardless of whether it is your second marriage. Your day your way, as they say.

I don't think there is anything you can't do on a second marriage. I suppose it depends on what age you are when the second marriage occurs. I for one am not keen on a 50 year old bride trooping down the aisle in a big white puffy dress and veil, if that's what you're getting at.
