Is anyone having a church wedding and isn't religious? When I say not religious, there are those that just don't go to church but have faith and I am thinking more of the Athiests who just want a church wedding. Is anyone here like that. It was just something I was pondering.

I can understand someone doing that if their partner is religious, but it the couple are not religious and marrying in church it's really bad.

I'm having a civil wedding simply because I loved the venue. I'm not religious but I can understand why people would like the tradition of a church and the hymns etc. Clearly if you are really against religion then it would be mad to have a church ceremony, but someone who is agnostic, I think that's fine.

I think Church weddings are not just about the religious aspect, but a traditional aspect too, and you can be a spiritual person without being necessarily religious.

We are getting married in a church. We don't actively go to church but we do both have faith, so I am happy with that.
