When to order a wedding dress 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Does this come first and everything else wrap around it? I'm not even sure how long it takes between ordering and it coming through, and then I suppose you have to have fittings and such. So how far in advance of the actual wedding date would you look to actually place the order?

It was the first thing I did because it was the thing that excited me most I suppose once you have that then everything can fall into place around it. Even if you think you are going for an Ivory dress, you may surprise yourself and get a coloured dress, and if you do that, then you need to work your colour scheme around it.

For me this was the most anticipated part of our wedding planning. It was the first thing on my 'to do' list, and you never know how long it will take to find the perfect one. That said it turned out to be the second dress that I tried on.
