I'm not keen on asking for cash. If I go to a wedding and there is no guest list I give cash. I've always assumed that is what they want if there is no list or preference of where gift vouchers are to be bought from.

Personally I am not asking for anything. Guests can do what they want the same as christmas or birthday, I'm not writing a list.

I just hate the poems. Just send the invitations and let people make their own decision about what they are going to give you. And before anyone starts sparking off about how much it is costing you to have them eat at your wedding - That was your decision.
