I had no idea how much things would end up costing. It is looking likely that my wedding is going to be funded by my credit card. Please tell me I am not the only fool doing this?

We gave ourselves nearly 3 years to plan the wedding, so hopefully we can pay for things as and when needed rather than just a rush at the end. The last thing I want is to start married life in debt which can ultimately cause arguments.

We have also given ourselves a long time before the wedding. Hopefully we can pay for bits and bobs as we go along and it won't be too stressful. We are not having a lavish wedding either, so hopefully it won't be too expensive anyway.
