My name is Kate Griffiths and I am a producer with Minnow Films (www.minnowfilms.co.uk), a London based TV documentary company. We produce thought provoking, intelligent and sensitive documentaries.

I am currently developing a documentary for Channel 4 that will tell the stories of wedding dresses and their owners. I am hoping to speak to women from across the country who have wedding dresses that they have not worn; perhaps because the wedding was cancelled due to bereavement or break up or perhaps because they have bought the dress but just haven’t found the right man yet. Perhaps you discovered you were pregnant while planning your wedding or maybe you found one you preferred. Whether you have had your dress for 2 months or 20 years, I am keen to hear your story.

If you or someone you know (friend or relative) has an unworn wedding dress then I would be very grateful to speak to you as part of my research. It would just be an informal chat with no commitment at this stage.
