Gibside Weddings offers the unique opportunity to have your wedding day set within one of the great designed landscapes of the North.  The Chapel, where our weddings are held, is an ecclesiastical masterpiece and is the finest church in the classical Palladian style in the country.  Marriages are conducted according to the rites of the Church of England and we can now offer the exciting opportunity to hold both your wedding service and wedding breakfast within this historic environment*. The Chapel and surrounding garden, designed for entertaining guests of the Bowes-Lyon family, forms part of the inner pleasure grounds of Gibside.  A wonderful backdrop for a perfect day! To arrange a tour of the Chapel and its setting, and discuss you requirements in further detail, please contact me.
