I made a non wedding related purchase of a Bikini from La Senza, but seeing as I know many people purchase wedding lingerie and honeymoon stuff from them I will advise you not to use them.
I ordered a Bikini from them, and as I am one of those people that is a different Bra size depending on where I buy from I ordered the smaller of my two sizes. It came through and it needed to be bigger. I held onto the bikini briefs and sent back the top. This cost a fair bit as I had to pay for postage and wanted to send registered asking for an exchange. WEEKS later I get a refund not an exchange. I phoned them and explained, they put the order through and were going to charge around £3 delivery. I explained that I had paid £3 for original delivery, over £3 to send back and now another £3 delivery, this is almost more than the top itself was costing. As a good will gesture the lady I spoke to agreed to send without delivery charge.
Sorted I thought. A few hours later (and probably after it had been decided by a superior that the delivery charge should be applicable, I receive an email saying my card was declined so the order was cancelled. Now I KNOW there was money in my account and I KNOW payment was approved because it went through while I was on the phone. Furthermore, why cancel the order, why not just ask me to contact them?
I was working away for a week after that, so I never had the opportunity to sort it out, but on my return I try to reorder and they are now out of stock of the bikini top in my size. I contacted them via email to ask if it is temporary or permanent... No answer. I contact them again a few days later... No answer. I got so fed up that I posted the bikini briefs back to them (another £3) and asked for a refund and an explination of why their customer service is so poor. I got the refund, but I am still waiting for an explination.
So it has cost me the price of the bikini just to send it back, doesn't matter that they refunded the actual garments I have still paid for it even though it is just in postage. I would recommend you avoid this company like the plague.
