I would be very upset about that too.

She really can't see the problem. She thinks she is flattering me that she liked my venue so much she booked it herself. It wouldn't bother me if her day was after mine, but I feel like our friends will think I have copied her. I've calmed down a bit since yesterday, but I am still livid.

OMG Im fuming! My friend is getting married 3 weeks before me. I announced my date first, and she then announced her date as being before mine. I didn't mind as she has been engaged longer. I booked my venue and she booked hers. As it happens, she said they had another wedding in the second hall of her venue and she didn't like it, so she cancelled with them and booked my venue. It really wouldn't bother me but I would say around 45% of my guests will be at her wedding too. I don't want to get into any sort of rivalry about who had the best wedding, which could have happened anyway with there being such a short space of time between us, but now we have the same venue, it is just ridiculous! What should I do?
