Hi girlies,

I have my first dress fitting today and Im really excited and a little bit scared, been having a few dress wobbles lately as my dress is not what everyone expects from me.

Everyone that knows im getting married keeps saying ooh i bet you having one of those skinny slinky dresses arent you, well thats what I always thought I wanted then the lady in the shop said to me let me pick something for you to just try.............

And its big.........................

And I loved it - shock - its not a meringue but the skirt and train are super huge, now i keep seeing all these lovely slinky vintage dresses and worrying.

Don't worry. There is a reason you fell in love with the dress, and it really doesn't matter that it is not what everyone expects you to wear. If anything, it is probably a good thing as you will have the WOW factor!

Go with it! There is only one time in your whole life you can get away with wearing a big long beautiful dress and that is your wedding day. Don't apologise for it
