Here you can climb a volcano, walk through beautiful terraced rice fields perched on the sides of towering mountains, take in lush green tropical jungles, swim and surf some of the worlds most famous beaches, Dive in some of the best scuba diving spots in the globe... Not forgetting the magnificent temples and traditional villages where you will meet some of the world's most culturally rich and fascinating people.

Bali has a tropical climate appropriate to its proximity to the equator. temperatures averaging 31 degrees Celsius. High humidity can be expected during the Wet Season between the months of October - April. The Dry Season between the months of May - September have also the lowest humidity. The Wet Season brings daily rain with the most rain recorded between December - February. Occasionally rainfall can also be expected during the dry season but usually at night or very early morning. June - August there is usually a very refreshing cool breeze all day long. The central mountain area is typically cooler than the lower coastal areas mainly especially at night.

Bali is unique as having the last dominant and still intact spiritual culture. Many of the traditional rituals and practices are just as alive today as they ever were, and the strength and resilience of the Balinese people and their culture is a testimony to the richess of their faith.  Balinese religious festivals and holidays occur all the time, so don't worry too much about timing your visit to coincide with local events.

Balinese society is founded on the Hindu caste system, although in a somewhat simpler form than that practiced in India. In Bali, there are four castes and each caste has its own language. A separate dialect exists to enable someone to address one of unknown caste to avoid disrespect this is known as Bahasa Indonesia, which is the language taught in schools. Because of this the other languages appear to be diminishing. If you are interested in Balinese religion and culture just make some inquiries when you arrive and be prepared to travel around the island.

It is easy to fill your honeymoon on Bali with activities. There are a wealth of options to choose from. Fun, attractive and adventurous activities such as romantic cruise, dolphin tour, diving, fishing and snorkeling, wind-surfing, jet ski, or surf the wild wave, adventurous white water rafting, or pump up the adrenaline with bungee jumping, sling shot. For those inclined to pursue land exploration, there is  jungle trekking and mountain hiking through the undisturbed rain forest or bicycling over the Balinese traditional villages.

Fancy something a little bit different? The famous 'Bemo Corner' in Kuta would be the very thing. Here you can hire a little blue bus called a Bemo, haggle over a fixed price with the driver and hightail it anywhere you want. It's sort of a bumpy taxi without a fare meter. Maybe go shopping, where you can find a wide selection of souvenir items, clothing and Balinese handcrafts.

East of Bali stretches a chain of tropical islands which have hardly changed in centuries. The islands around Komodo are also the only place in the world where you can still see large, fierce reptiles, descendants of the carnivorous Dinosaurs which survived only here on these islands over 130 million years ago.

If you are not sure what to pack in that Honeymoon suitcase then a good tip is to dress informal in Indonesia. Due to the warm, humid climate, clothing of light-weight fabrics are recommended. Highland areas are noticeably cooler, however, and carrying a light sweater is suggested.
