The 15-minute clip shows the couple’s ceremony at Vilu Reef Beach and Spa resort where the couple were abused in the man’s native tongue, Dhivehi.
The service was conducted by the hotel’s food and beverage manager, Hussein Didi, who was heard hurling insults whilst he read in a celebratory voice from a sheet of paper which has been revealed to be a document outlining staff regulations.
Didi chanted in a tone which is favoured by religious scholars and said that the couple were swines and that their children will be b****** swine. He added that the marriage was not a valid one and that people like them could never have a valid marriage.
After the ceremony as the couple plant a coconut tree to celebrate, one man shouts that he can see the bride’s breasts.
