Kate Middleton looked absolutely stunning for her royal wedding to Prince William, in a natural makeup look with a focus on the eyes that matched perfectly with her soft hair style.
Kate went with a really sophisticated look that showed a modern touch, and most interestingly, Kate did the make-up herself!
Get the look!
- Start with a nice primer and base for your foundation. This will ensure the make-up lasts longer, and stops any make-up movement.
- Give it a few minutes before adding foundation. Something inbetween a foundation and a tinted moisturer will be perfect and won't look too heavy or thick.
- Set it with some powder. It is important the face isn’t too shiny on photographs with all the lights from the photographer’s flashes.
- Use a concealer and brightener for under the eyes to brighten and opent the eyes up with a twinkle
- Shape your brows with a pencil that is in keeping with their natural colour, and fill it in with brow powder.
- Line around the eyes with a brown/black kohl, take it the whole way around the eye and blend it in using the end of a cotton bud. Curl your lashes before swipping on a layer of waterproof mascara.
- Use a brown eyeshadow in dark and lighter colors on the eye crease for a light smokey-eye look.
- Use a off-white eyeshadow on the eyelids, again using a matt colour rather than anything too shiney.
- Use a light bronze blush and then layer it with a soft pink on the apples of your cheeks and blend it up towards your hair line.
- Finish off with a pretty pink lipstick and cover over with a nudey-pink gloss
